As you watch the video ask yourself the following questions: In what ways have you enabled your child to be tech saavy? Does their schooling experience allow them to use the computer beyond word documents? How have you grown in your understanding of technology? What do you think about the importance of technology in your child’s education?

This blows my mind. As you know, it’s only within the past year and a half that I became involved in technology. It seemed so scary to me, because we didn’t get a computer in my house until I was a senior in High Schol. When I began incorporating technology more into my classroom, I realized just how much I was helping my students by being able to engage them in a way that they are now interacting in the world! It makes my teaching more relevant, and it helps me to understand where they’re coming from SO much more.
